Dear Friend and Fellow Blues Jammer,
If you have ever tried to put a band together, you probably know it’s a big headache…
Looking for rhythm guitar players without attitude, keyboard players that know how to get out of the way, bass players that don’t want to be lead guitar players, and drummers who don’t consider it their mission to play louder than you is nearly impossible.
You want to surround yourself with players that will make you sound great, not the other way around.
Ultimate Blues Jams is the answer to these problems. Finally, you can play lead guitar with a band that won’t complain, won’t step on your toes, and won’t tell you to turn down.
Plus, these tracks won’t sound like they were from HAL 9000 in the late 60s… (I’m sorry, Dave. I’m afraid I can’t do that)
A good jam means listening and reacting to what is happening with all the instruments involved. There needs to be some give and take with a band to produce a real jam experience.
But as you probably know, this idea of give and take is lost at most blues jams because most players aren’t concerned with what’s going on around them. Now you can have real jam tracks that aren’t only produced by a real band, but change dynamics and react to different parts in the song. It becomes an organic jam experience.
And, these jam tracks come straight from the stage, preparing you for “ooohs” and “aaahs” from the crowd at any blues jam. Take it from us, it feels great.
We all have frequented blues jams for years and know what it’s like to be nervous when they call your name and feel great when a roomful of strangers loves what you’re throwing down.
And we also know what it feels like to not get that positive reaction…
Because of our collective experience, we built a product that will give you the skills necessary to impress at any blues jam. And if going to a jam isn’t your thing, you’ll still have the best jam tracks available, provided by a real band, to play along to anywhere you want.
Turn up your speakers and hit play on the video below for a taste of what we mean…
Simple… It’s really hard.
Most of the jam tracks you hear online are easy to build. Usually one person layers each track on top of each other, losing any sense of soul and dynamic to the piece, using a midi controller for drums, bass, guitar, AND keyboards.
Granted, modern technology allows us to create much better tracks than ten years ago… even five years ago (heck, we use it for quick-and-dirty jam tracks all the time.) But no matter what, looping the same 12 bars seven times doesn’t create a real jam experience.
We brought in professional musicians (well ok, we are professional musicians.) We set up real instruments, real amplifiers, real drums. We created a professional 24-track recording studio with high quality microphones worth thousands of dollars. We recorded in the same room, at the same time, just like a real band on a real stage.
And like a real band, we’re playing backup. You are the star with Ultimate Blues Jams. We’ve heard TOO many jam tracks where the playing is so busy, there’s no room for you.
We have blues jammers like you to thank for the inspiration to build Ultimate Blues Jams. We received overwhelming feedback from the blues jams that we hosted at Blues Guitar Unleashed Live.
The musicians involved in these jams were in the same position you are now, trying to find local blues jams that helped them develop their playing skills. And it turns out that one of the biggest motivators at Blues Guitar Unleashed Live was jamming along with a professional rhythm section.
We had such a great time providing the rhythm section for more than 60 blues guitar jammers in two different years. It’s truly amazing the progress we saw.
We took a poll where we asked what songs are called most often at a blues jam. After we received hundreds of suggestions, we narrowed down the list to 40 of the top picks from blues players just like you.
List in hand, we set up our gear and recorded all 40 tracks in real time with all of us sitting in the same room. That’s right, we didn’t layer or overdub tracks (for this kind of project that would have lost some authenticity), we recorded together as if we were playing on stage together.
And if you have ever made it to a Blues Guitar Unleashed Live event, you know how much fun and challenging it is to play with a professional rhythm section backing you up. The experiences that so many Blues Guitar Unleashed guitarists shared with us based on their time on stage jamming at Blues Guitar Unleashed Live are what we have recreated here.
And now you get to take the reins and play with a professional rhythm section that collectively has more than 85 years of professional experience.
Always play music with two levels of musicians… musicians that are better than you are or musicians that are on the same level. It may seem like common sense at first, but it can be very difficult. Seek out musicians that are either better than you or are at least on the same level so you continue to learn more about your instrument.
Obviously, musicians that you consider to be better than you have a lot of experience to share with you, even if you just sit and watch. But you can still learn from musicians on the same level as you as long as you share experiences with each other and move forward accordingly. In our opinions, this is the best way to put a band together. If everyone is on the same level musically, the band can grow together and develop a tight bond.
Unfortunately, playing with musicians that aren’t on the same level as you will keep you from advancing your skills. Although, to look on the brighter side of that option, be the best teacher you can be and share your experiences to help spread your passion for music to others.
This same point can be applied to the jam tracks we are offering you today. The Griff Hamlin Band is a tighter band for developing Ultimate Blues Jams, and now we have the opportunity to share our experiences with you. We know for a fact that the attendees of Blues Guitar Unleashed Live progressed so much from year 1 to year 2. We saw and heard it in their playing, and we know for a fact that your skills will progress once you start playing along to jam tracks with us.
Upon placing your order using our secure server, Ultimate Blues Jams will be immediately available to you. The audio jam tracks are all available via digital download. No shipping costs, no tax, no waiting for “snail mail!”
Once your purchase is through the blues jam tracks will be available immediately.
Once you download the jam tracks you can play along to these jam tracks wherever you want. They are standard .mp3 files that will work on any portable device, your computer, or you can burn them to a disk from iTunes, Windows Media Player, or most any other music player.
With Ultimate Blues Jams, it isn’t about how many tracks you get (though there are a LOT of them…) it’s the quality of the tracks on them. These are the best, organic blues jam tracks available, produced by a real, professional band that gigs together regularly.
On top of that, the tracks weren’t layered on top of each other, losing the authenticity of a band, but they were recorded real time with the whole band playing together. This means that each jam track has an organic feel to it that has real dynamics and reactions.
You simply can’t get this kind of experience any other way.

There are all sorts of different tempos on the jam tracks. We wanted to keep the tracks as authentic as possible, so we set them at the speed you would probably find at a blues jam. If they feel too fast at first, don’t worry about it, find the songs you are comfortable with and pretty soon you will be soloing all over every track.
And while we’re talking about playing along with the jam tracks, don’t worry if it’s not perfect the first time… many of my students ask, “Should I play along with the tracks, even though I can’t keep up yet?”
The answer is… ABSOLUTELY!
We’re also not going to tell you that if you buy Ultimate Blues Jams, you’ll be playing like Eric Clapton or SRV in 2 weeks. That’s just not realistic for anyone.
So if you are a person who owns 20 different “jam track” products and they are all dusty on the shelf, then we can’t help you and you would be wasting your money.
But if you have 15-20 minutes a day to practice, you will be playing all your favorite songs at your local blues jam in no time. Or at least impressing all your friends and family at home.

Option 1: Right now you can do nothing… you can close this page, head back over to YouTube, and keep going the way you’ve been going and try to find authentic jam tracks that are even half as good as Ultimate Blues Jams.
Option 2: You can keep going to local blues jams and try to keep up, without making much progress since there probably aren’t a lot of players there that are worth learning much from.
You’ll want to arm yourself with the skills necessary to really turn some heads at the blues jam. Without quality practice with some real professional jam tracks, that isn’t going to happen.
Option 3: Play along with real, authentic blues jam tracks produced by professional musicians that play together regularly. Plus you’re playing with a rhythm section with more than 85 years of professional experience collectively.
